The information and data you provide or otherwise acquired in connection with the use of Cielo Venezia services, such as newsletters, will be processed in compliance with the provisions of the Regulations and the confidentiality obligations that inspire the activity of Cielo Venezia.
According to the rules of the Regulations, the processes carried out by Cielo Venezia will be based on the principles of lawfulness, correctness, transparency, limitation of purpose and conservation, minimization of data, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Type of data
Following the navigation of the Sites, we inform you that Cielo Venezia will process personal data (Article 4 (1) of the Regulation) hereinafter referred to as merely “Personal Data.”
In particular, the Personal Data processed through the Sites are the following:
1. Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Sites acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the Sites, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and the user’s computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Sites and to check its correct operation (please also view these policies in the ensuing Cookie Information), to identify anomalies and/or abuse, and are immediately deleted after processing. The data could be used by the competent authorities to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the sites.
2. Data provided voluntarily by the interested party
Apart from the specified navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data contained in any request forms present on the websites (e.g., to activate newsletters, request information and/or product reports, etc.). Failure to provide such data could make it impossible to provide the service. During the use of some Site Services, personal data may be processed by third parties sent by you to Cielo Venezia. In this hypothesis, you are the independent data controller, and assume all legal obligations and responsibilities. In this sense, Cielo Venezia is considered to be broadly indemnified in regards to any dispute, claim, request for compensation for damage from treatment, etc. that should reach Cielo Venezia from third parties whose Personal Data have been processed through the use of site features in violation of the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data. In any case, if it provides or otherwise processes Personal Data of third parties in the use of the Sites, it guarantees from now on – assuming all related liability – that this particular hypothesis of treatment is based on an appropriate legal basis pursuant to art. 6 of the Regulation that legitimizes the processing of the information in question.
Purposes and methods of treatment.
The data you provide will be processed for the following purposes:
• to send the Cielo Venezia newsletter
• for marketing reasons and the promotion of products and services
For these purposes the provision of data is optional and any refusal does not involve any consequences whatsoever.
The data processing will be carried out in full respect of fundamental freedoms without damaging your privacy and your dignity, and will always adopt the principles inspired by correctness, lawfulness and transparency and for purposes not exceeding the purpose of its collection.
For the processing of your data, both electronic and manual tools will be used, adopting all the appropriate security measures to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of the data.
The processed data will not be disclosed to subjects without authorization granted by the Data Controller, without prejudice to the communication or dissemination of data requested, in compliance with the law, by police forces, judicial authorities, information and safety bodies or other public authorities for purposes of defense or security of the State, prevention, detection or repression of crimes.
The legal basis of the Treatment.
The lawfulness of the processing consists of the voluntary consent for the processing of personal data only for specific marketing, promotional and information (article 6, paragraph 1, point A).
Refusal of consent to treatment
Failure to consent affects the processing of data provided for specific marketing, promotional and information purposes, newsletters, telephone contact or other means.
All personal data will be processed for the purposes stated above, up to (and not after) the withdrawal of consent from you. When your consent is withdrawn, all your data, both on paper and computer, will be destroyed.
Rights of the interested party
The interested party has the right to access (art.15), to the rectification and integration of personal data (art.16), to the cancellation after the retention period of the data due to the law (art.17), limitation of treatment (art.18), obligation to notify in case of rectification or cancellation of personal data (art.19), and objection of the processing of his or her personal data (art. 21).
The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the treatment based on consent before revocation. To exercise your rights, the interested party can contact the Data Controller.
